Ep. 38 - Willis Gore

Brought to you by our friends at SoGlo Guitar Gallery and SoGlo Custom Guitars at 509 Gloucester Street in Brunswick, Georgia, Episode 38 features Will Gore, lead guitar/vocalist for Bonnie Blue, a Jacksonville, Florida-based blues and jam band. From Meridian, Georgia, Will talks about his past in music, growing up in McIntosh County, and family friend, songwriter, and mentor, the legendary Vic Waters. Will plays a couple originals, “Do You Remember”, written on a shrimp boat in early 2020, and “Break Through”, inspired by the words of our good friend, Chad Deal, then lends his lead guitar to a laugh-filled Sean Clark/Uncle Dave/Connor Griffin cowrite, “Watch Out, Joaquin Phoenix”. Topped off with a tasty Swamptown Getdown Tail of the Weak, Episode 38 sticks to you like fat on a mother-in-law.
