Ep. 46 - Connor Griffin

Something In The Water: Episode 46 is a bit of a departure from the normal guest format as we welcome back Connor Griffin, son of Uncle Dave and bandmate of Sean Clark, for an hour-and-a-half of stories and songs. The guys toss back some Knee Deep in Peaches, a summery ale creation from Pete and Lynn Anderson, owners of Pareidolia Brewing Company in Sebastian, Florida, featuring Sean’s Pine Box Dwellers artwork. All three songwriters showcase some of their original works, including an audio preview of “Neon Rain”, a cowrite with Sean and Uncle Dave, from the upcoming Pine Box Dwellers 12 - song CD release entitled Drifter’s Blues, recorded at Athens’ Tweed Recording with former Waycrossan Charlie Chastain producing. Uncle Dave’s Tail of the Weak carries on the songwriting theme as he recalls some of his childhood favorites and Connor recounts his hilarious John Lennon Phase as a 7-year-old. Imagine that.
