The local GP historian joins cohosts Sean Clark and Uncle Dave Griffin, songwriting partner and bandmate of Billy Ray through the years. The two share memories on how they met; put together Sweetbriar, the first Country Rock band in Waycross, Georgia in 1971; became published songwriters for the Lowery Group of Atlanta, Georgia; recorded four songs with Bill Lowery’s studio, Southern Tracks Records; formed the local Americana band, Hickory Wind and performed at the 1991 Gram Parsons Tribute Concert, sponsored by the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce.
